A private digital home for the people you call family.
Not another social network. A warm, simple place where your family can stay connected, share memories, and pass stories down the line.
Born from one big Portuguese family with 70+ relatives — now built for families everywhere.
Social media is loud. Family should feel small and close.
Between endless feeds, group texts, and phones full of photos, it’s never been easier to share — and never easier to lose the things that really matter. We wanted something quieter.
You don’t need the whole world to see every photo, inside joke, or voice note from Grandma. But you do want a place where your people can find them — years from now — without digging through old phones or buried text threads.
OllieTree is that place: private by design, simple enough for elders, modern enough for the younger generation, and focused on one thing — your family’s story.
It started with one big Portuguese family.
OllieTree began as a way to keep one large extended Portuguese family connected — over seventy relatives, spread across homes, states, and generations. Holidays and barbecues were full of laughter and stories, but we noticed something important: the stories weren’t being saved anywhere.
The elders would talk about “back in the day,” the kids would scroll on their phones, and somewhere in the middle we realized… if we don’t capture this, it disappears.
So OllieTree was built as a private space where our own family could share photos, pin down memories, build a living family tree, and invite the next generation to see exactly where they come from. It worked so well for us that we knew other families needed it too.
Everything your family needs, all in one private place.
Map your family across generations and watch it grow as relatives join and update their own profiles.
A calm place to talk, plan, and share life updates — without the noise and strangers of social media.
Save the photos that actually matter — reunions, games, birthdays, ordinary days — all organized by family, event, or year.
Invite parents and grandparents to record their memories in their own words so their voice carries forward.
Keep track of birthdays, reunions, and family events in one simple, shared calendar everyone can see.
Not another feed. A smaller, quieter corner of the internet.
Too loud. Too public.
Built to broadcast, chase attention, and keep you scrolling.
- Strangers, brands, and algorithms in every corner.
- Important memories buried under everything else.
- Harder for elders to use and trust.
Small, private, and easy to love.
Built for connection, not consumption. Your people, your space.
- Only the relatives and close family you invite.
- Stories, photos, and events organized by family — not an algorithm.
- Gentle, simple design that works for teens and grandparents alike.
Give your family’s story a home.
